This book is an invitation to witness the life of a man who has made courageous choices. Marquise Bowie, once known as Mad Dog 30-30, invites you to walk with him, to see and be with some of the people, hear the stories, be in the streets and cars and schools where he lived as a young man. Be with him as he tries the life that was in and all around him, in his troubled family, with his friends who were sometimes trouble in a city that was itself changing.
